Intro to Flying (Round 2)

Come learn the basics of flying partner yoga and build strength and trust with your fellow yogi (does not have to be a romantic partner...could be anyone you want to build trust and have fun with!). Aaron and Jessica will guide you through a vinyasa-style warm-up, then walk you through some of the basic partner flying poses (kind of like a super intro to AcroYoga plus a little more if you are feeling adventurous). Gratitude & Grounding

It is easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed out during seasonal transitions. Our schedules are often thrown-off center by travel and our minds are often occupied with to-do lists for summer vacation, beach trips, and projects around the house! This workshop is going to focus on grounding throughout May and June as transition into the hottest months of year. We will work on yoga and basic meditation techniques to help you find a strong connection to yourself through gratitude and love. We will flow through a gentle vinyasa practice to help get centered and relaxed. You will leave feeling calm and collected. $20 (cash or check at the door)

Flowing with Mindfulness

Ever find that you zone out during yoga class? Do you want to practice being present? This workshop is based on getting a good workout, learning about mindfulness, and how being present while you are flowing through your practice can make it more efficient, more enjoyable, and more rewarding. We will go over a lot of tools, but this is also just a great time to deepen your practice and hone your breath and concentration while strengthening and stretching. $20

Empowerment Yoga

Yoga for better sex? Well, I am not making any promises, but what I will promise is that you will learn about different muscle groups and energy centers to help you in areas off of the mat ;) Check your inhibitions at the door, ladies! This workshop is designed to help you feel empowered and hone your sexual energy (two very similar things). Before we warm up with a vigorous heart and hip opening vinyasa flow, we will talk about some of the basic muscle groups and poses that can help to better your bedroom (or wherever) experience! We will then dive a little deeper and awaken energy centers in the pelvic region, hips, back and heart. Deepen and strengthen your practice with this two hour workshop focused on opening up the tightest areas in your body--your hips and shoulders. Going a little deeper and building from the first workshop, we will continue to explore King Pigeon pose by slowly adding a couple more components of this full body pose. We will have another opportunity to play around with the different variations of half king pigeon pose, while adding deeper hip and shoulder stretches and focusing more on the alignment and rotations of the hip and shoulder joints. We will first get nice and warm and then explore our shoulder and hip joints along with some back bending and heart opening! $20

Back Bending & Heart Opening (Focus on King Pigeon)

Come and learn about Kapotasana (King Pigeon Pose) with Jessica. We will explore the alignment of different pigeon poses and prep poses to ease ourselves into full King Pigeon Pose! You may think, half pigeon is just enough for me, thank you very much, but half pigeon and full pigeon are very different and really compliment each other. In the first part (of this two part series), we will work on deepening our back bends and opening our hearts (working on openness through the chest and collar bones). This is a two hour workshop. You will have the opportunity to deepen your practice and devote extra time to it in a safe and welcoming environment. We will talk about the pigeon poses and alignment in other backbends and heart openers, do a vigorous warm-up, and then work on different variations of pigeon pose! $20

Inversion Workshop

It's scary to go upside-down! If it weren't, we would all be doing it, all of the time! In this workshop, we will build a strong foundation (physical and mental) to get ready to go upside down! Working on your handstand? Or headstand? Or shoulderstand? Or putting your legs up the wall? Well, we will have the opportunity to do all of those! Whether you have been practicing for a while or you're just curious about the benefits of going upside down, this workshop is for you. When your head is below your heart, you can improve circulation throughout the body and gain new perspective on things! Inversions are also energizing, relaxing, and they offer a nice break for your body and joints (think opposite pressure than you experience all day standing and sitting upright). $20
